The public page shows the week about a day before kickoff. With a key you see every call as it was written — including the pre-designation calls made on Wednesday and Thursday, before the clubs have said anything. That earliness is the product.
Your key stays in this browser
It is held in session storage, which dies with the tab, and the page calls the API directly with it. This website never receives it — so a compromise here cannot hand anybody your credential. No cookie is set, which is also why there is no sign-out to forget: close the tab.
