Zay Jones Officially Ruled Out
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee) was limited in practice all week but has been officially ruled out for the Week 10 game against the San Francisco 49ers. Head coach Doug Pederson had already said Jones was a long shot to return following the team's bye week, so this isn't a big surprise. The 28-year-old pass-catcher hasn't played since aggravating his knee injury in Week 5 and will miss his fourth straight game and sixth of the last seven contests. Jones should remain on the waiver wire in most single-year fantasy leagues for the time being. Jamal Agnew will continue to serve as the No. 3 wideout behind Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk, but he's not a realistic flex option in most leagues. In only three games in 2023, Jones has eight catches for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
