Zay Jones Making Progress, Returns To Practice
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee) was officially limited in practice on Wednesday. Jones said he received a second opinion on his knee injury and that he's making progress coming out of the team's bye week. Jones missed Weeks 3 and 4 before returning in Week 5 in London against the Buffalo Bills, only to aggravate his knee injury and then miss the next three games. The Jaguars aren't ruling out a stint on the Injured Reserve for the 28-year-old, but it's a good sign that he at least practiced on Wednesday. It doesn't mean Jones will return in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers, though, and even when is able to play on game day again, he'll be no better than the No. 3 wideout behind Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk.
