Zay Jones Considered Week-To-Week

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (hamstring) is considered week-to-week heading into the Week 16 contest versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday. Head coach Doug Pederson did say that Jones is "getting better," but the fact is that he's probably unlikely to play on Christmas Eve after getting hurt in the Sunday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The 28-year-old has already missed six games due to a lingering knee issue, and now it looks like he's set to miss at least one more game. It's bad timing, too, since Jones' role was on the rise with Christian Kirk (core) done for the rest of the regular season. In his last three games, Jones saw 30 targets, catching 15 of them for 166 yards. If he cannot play against Tampa, Jamal Agnew and rookie Parker Washington would step into three-receiver sets alongside Calvin Ridley. UPDATE: Jones did not practice on Wednesday.
