Indianapolis Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin (knee) is officially inactive for Week 9 versus the Carolina Panthers. This was widely expected after the team downgraded him to "doubtful" on Saturday. He has been a playmaker on defense this year, amassing 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and a whopping 102 tackles. In his absence, E.J. Speed should see more snaps as the Colts look to slow down the likes of Bryce Young, Chuba Hubbard, and others.
