Zach Wilson To Start In Week 14

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson will start in Week 14 against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Tim Boyle started the team's last two losses but was benched after halftime of the Week 13 loss to the Atlanta Falcons for Trevor Siemian. Now the Jets will go back to Wilson, who has gone 3-6 in his nine starts for the Jets in his third NFL season. There were conflicting reports earlier this week about Wilson's reluctance to take the starting gig back after being benched in favor of Boyle in Week 12. With Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) unlikely to return again in 2023, Wilson should serve as the Jets' starter under center the rest of the way as he tries to put some good tape out there. He's probably an upgrade over Boyle and Siemian but should still be regarded as a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues. Wilson has completed 59% of his passes, has been sacked 38 times and has lost five fumbles in 2023.
