Zach Wilson Demoted To No. 3 On Depth Chart
12 months ago

The New York Jets announced on Monday that they will give the Week 12 start against the Miami Dolphins on Friday to Tim Boyle. They later announced that Trevor Siemian will be called up from the practice squad to serve as Boyle's backup, which means that Zach Wilson will be demoted to third string for the time being. Wilson was benched in the third quarter of the team's blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and the 24-year-old's future with the organization is firmly in doubt after he has completed only 56.6% of his passes for 6.3 yards per attempt, 21 touchdowns and 25 interceptions since being the No. 2 overall pick int he 2021 draft. The move from Wilson to Boyle won't necessarily prove to be the answer for the Jets offense, although fantasy managers that have Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson sure hope it will be.
