Xavien Howard Projected To Be Targeted in Week 1
one year ago

Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard projects to face heavy volume in his Week 1 road matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers threw the ball 711 times last season, second-most in the league. With Kellen Moore taking over as offensive coordinator, the Chargers could throw the ball even more, especially deep and toward the sidelines. Moore's offenses ranked in the top ten for passing yards and attempts three times during his four years as Cowboys offensive coordinator. Howard made 45 combined tackles and 12 pass deflections last season while allowing a 59.5% completion percentage in coverage, his highest in the past three years.
