Will Levis Continues To Show Promise
one year ago

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis was up and down during his second NFL start in Thursday's 20-16 loss the Pittsburgh Steelers, completing 22-of-39 passes for 262 yards and one interception while taking four sacks (three in the first half). The 24-year-old was sharp in the first half, going 12-for-17 for 153 scoreless yards with a couple of money throws in a two-minute drill that spurred a field-goal drive before halftime. With time running low, Levis tossed a game-sealing interception in desperation mode late in the game. While this wasn't a fantasy showing the big-armed Levis may write home about, he certainly showed some moxie on the road during a short week. It remains to be seen if the rookie has pried the starting gig from veteran Ryan Tannehill (ankle). Whoever is under center on Nov. 12 against a pass-funnel Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense could be in streaming conversations with Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, and Tua Tagovailoa on a Week 10 bye.
