Washington Commanders Defense Should Be Avoided In All Formats
2 months ago

The Washington Commanders defense has been going through growing pains with their new coaching staff, as they have allowed 348.0 average yards per game, one of the higher marks in football through the first two weeks. While they have been able to contain the run (120.5 average yards per game), they have struggled mightily against the pass, allowing 227.5 yards per game through the air. This week, they will face one of the better quarterbacks in football, Joe Burrow, and his high-powered wide receiving corps, headlined by superstar Ja'Marr Chase. Last weekend, the Commanders did not have an answer for Malik Nabers, suggesting Chase could have an excellent opportunity to break out of his early-season slump. In addition, No. 2 wideout Tee Higgins (hamstring) returned to practice this week in a limited fashion but is expected to play and make his season debut. The Commanders could be in for another rough game and should be avoided in all formats.
