Uncertainty Surrounding Justin Jefferson's Status
one year ago

Minnesota Vikings Pro Bowl wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) is eligible to come off Injured Reserve in Week 10 from a hamstring injury that was expected to sideline him four to six weeks. However, Jefferson must still meet with doctors and the team has to decide how it wants to handle Jefferson. There continues to be uncertainty about his status, according to sources, despite the fact that he could be activated from IR as early as this upcoming week. It remains to be seen if the 24-year-old will return to practice this week and have his 21-day window to be activated from IR opened. The Vikings surely aren't going to rush him back, especially with quarterback Kirk Cousins (Achilles) out for the year. Rookie Jordan Addison will continue to serve as the team's No. 1 wideout, but his fantasy stock will take a hit with the downgrade from Cousins to rookie Jaren Hall/Joshua Dobbs under center going forward.
