Tyrod Taylor Throws For 200 Yards Against Buffalo
one year ago

New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor threw for 200 yards and added another 24 on the ground in the team's 14-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He started in place of Daniel Jones (neck). The journeyman nearly completed what would have been one of the biggest upsets of the 2023 season. Two targets to tight end Darren Waller with no time remaining were unsuccessful. The veteran played a turnover-free game but did not lead the Giants to a touchdown. It's the third straight game that New York has failed to score an offensive touchdown. Jones told reporters that he's feeling pain on the left side of his neck but hopes to be ready for Week 7. If that's the case, Taylor will return to the bench.
