Tyrod Taylor Released From The Hospital
one year ago

New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor (ribs) was released from the hospital on Monday after being taken there on Sunday for precautionary reasons due to a rib injury he suffered in the Week 8 overtime loss to the New York Jets, according to a source. For now, Taylor is being considered week-to-week. The 34-year-old veteran sounds very iffy to play in Week 9 in Las Vegas against the Raiders. In related news, Daniel Jones (neck) was cleared for contact on Sunday and is expected to return to practice on Wednesday after missing the last three games. The only other QB the G-Men have on their practice squad is rookie Tommy Devito, so they will probably be in the market for a veteran signal-caller this week for insurance at the position.
