Tyquan Thornton Questionable To Make Season Debut
one year ago

New England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (shoulder) is listed as questionable to make his season debut in Week 6 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Thornton practiced in a limited capacity all week, and the Patriots are hopeful that the second-year wideout will be active on Sunday, especially with both JuJu Smith-Schuster and rookie Demario Douglas out with concussions. Injuries have plagued Thornton early in his career, but he can bring an element of speed to an offense when he's healthy for a Pats team that desperately needs vertical separation. The 23-year-old is unlikely to have a big role in Week 6 if he's active, but he's worth a speculative pickup in the deepest of leagues for WR depth. Rookie Kayshon Boutte, who has been a healthy scratch the last four games, could be active against the Raiders.
