Tyquan Thornton Questionable For Week 9

New England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (foot) was added to the Week 9 injury report on Friday and is listed as questionable to face the Washington Commanders. Thornton was listed as limited at practice on Friday, but it's an ominous sign for his availability this weekend. It's more bad news for the Pats' receiving corps with Kendrick Bourne (knee) out for the season and DeVante Parker (concussion) already ruled out for Sunday. Even if the 23-year-old Thornton is available against Washington, he'll likely play a smaller role behind JuJu Smith-Schuster, rookie Demario Douglas and Jalen Reagor in what has been one of the worst offenses in football this year. Rookie Kayshon Boutte should be active for the first time since Week 1.
