Tyler Lockett Has Another Quiet Game In Week 7
one year ago

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett caught four of his five targets on Sunday for 38 yards. Without DK Metcalf (hip, ribs) in the lineup due to injury, Arizona's secondary was able to focus their attention on the nine-year veteran. The defense succeeded in limiting Lockett's production which allowed the rookie tandem of Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Jake Bobo to enjoy their most successful games to date. Lockett nearly had another reception in the fourth quarter for what would have been a gain of more than 20 yards, but was ruled out of bounds on his acrobatic attempt. In Week 8 his job won't be any easier, as the Cleveland Browns' stout defense will come to Seattle, making Lockett a flex candidate in most leagues.
