Turnovers Doom Joshua Dobbs, Vikings In Loss
12 months ago

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Joshua Dobbs' Cinderella story was halted late in Week 11's 21-20 loss to the Denver Broncos, as he completed 20 of 32 passes for 221 yards with a touchdown and an interception to go with eight carries for 21 yards and a rushing score. Dobbs' pick and fumble only led to Broncos field goals despite handing over excellent field position, but the 28-year-old couldn't ultimately orchestrate the game-winning drive as Minnesota's five-game winning streak came to an end. Even if he is just a system QB, Dobbs is certainly thriving in head coach Kevin O'Connell's fantasy-friendly offense as a legit back-end QB1 with a palatable floor and ceiling combination. The Chicago Bears in Week 12 are no mighty foe for Dobbs, whose magic is beginning to remind of Case Keenum once upon a time in Minnesota. We'll see if Justin Jefferson (hamstring) gets back into the fold to fortify Dobbs' prospects.
