Tua Tagovailoa Cools Off In Week 4 Defeat
one year ago

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa completed 25-of-35 passes for 282 yards, one touchdown, and an interception in Week 4's 48-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Tagovailoa was soundly outdueled by Josh Allen as Miami's humming offense was hushed a bit in this battle of two AFC juggernauts. He had a solid 155-yard first half, but Miami's two touchdowns went to De'Von Achane on the ground over the first two quarters. Tagovailoa hit Braxton Berrios on a 11-yard bullet pass near the back of the end zone to strike first out of the second half's gates and salvage an otherwise dissatisfying fantasy day based on Tagovailoa's brilliant start entering Sunday's affair. After absorbing a season-high four sacks with star left tackle Terron Armstead (knee) exiting this one, the 25-year-old signal-caller should see much cleaner pockets in Week 5 versus a nonexistent New York Giants pass rush with two sacks covering three games.
