Troy Fautanu Out For Rest Of Regular Season
2 months ago

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie right tackle Troy Fautanu (knee) suffered a dislocated kneecap during practice last Friday and will soon undergo surgery to repair the ligament damage. He was placed on IR this weekend, and now NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Fautanu is out for the remainder of the regular season. The first-round rookie could be healthy enough to return for the playoffs, should the Steelers qualify. Broderick Jones took over as Pittsburgh's primary right tackle in Week 3 versus the Los Angeles Chargers and is the early favorite to remain there going forward.
