Treylon Burks Could Have Deep-League Value In Week 9
one year ago

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks returned from his knee injury in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons but failed to catch either of his two targets from quarterback Will Levis. The second-year receiver from Arkansas has been disappointing this season, catching just six of his 15 targets for 99 yards. However, if DeAndre Hopkins (toe) doesn't play on Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Burks might be worth starting in deep formats. The Steelers have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year, and someone will have to be on the receiving end of Levis' passes. That said, Burks would still have a low floor and is not guaranteed to outscore wide receivers Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Chris Moore or tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo. If Hopkins plays, Burks should likely be benched in all formats.
