Trevor Lawrence Won't Participate In Practice On Wednesday
12 months ago

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (ankle) is not practicing on Wednesday after suffering a high-ankle sprain in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13. Lawrence's ankle was stepped on by one of his offensive linemen, leading to him missing the end of the overtime loss. The Jaguars have not ruled him out for the Week 14 contest against the Cleveland Browns yet, but there's a good chance it will happen. In that case, veteran backup C.J. Beathard would draw a start under center. Calvin Ridley, Evan Engram, and Zay Jones could see reduced fantasy value without Lawrence, even with Christian Kirk (core) expected to miss the rest of the regular season.
