Trevor Lawrence "Progressing Well" From Concussion
11 months ago

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol, but head coach Doug Pederson said he is "progressing well" after suffering a concussion late in Sunday night's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. It's good news, but Lawrence will need to keep progressing in order to be cleared to play on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If he doesn't pass the concussion protocol, C.J. Beathard would be in line to start in Week 16, which would be bad news all around for Jacksonville's offense. We'll have a better idea of the 24-year-old's Week 16 status when the Jags release their injury reports, starting on Wednesday. But the bottom line is fantasy managers that were planning on using Lawrence this weekend in a good matchup might be forced to go in another direction.
