Trevor Lawrence Almost Reaches 300 Yards In Win vs. Steelers
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 24-of-32 passes for 292 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against the Steelers on Sunday. He also added a carry for 10 yards on the ground. With rain coming down hard in this one, both offenses struggled to put up points, but Lawrence was able to move the ball effectively against this tough defense on the road. Unfortunately, the former first-round pick only threw one touchdown yet again - a 56-yard deep shot to Etienne - keeping his multiple touchdown games this year at only two. Jacksonville has proven to be a team that is capable of moving the ball downfield but they have had to rely on their defense more often than not, capping the potential of Lawrence. He heads into the Week 9 bye not having eclipsed the 20-point fantasy threshold once this season, but will look to do so against the 49ers in Week 10.
