Trent Williams Still Not Practicing

San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) was unable to take part in the team's first official practice on Wednesday coming out of the bye week. Williams injured his ankle in Week 6 and missed the games in Weeks 7 and 8. The 35-year-old All-Pro left tackle still has two more days to get back on the practice field, but as of now, he's trending in the wrong direction to return this weekend in a Week 10 tilt on the road in Jacksonville against the Jaguars. If Williams, who is still one of the best left tackles in the league, is unable to play this weekend, it will be a downgrade for quarterback Brock Purdy and the Niners offense as they look to snap a three-game losing skid. Jaylon Moore will likely start again on Purdy's blind side if Williams cannot play.
