San Francisco 49ers All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) is out for the Monday night game against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7. Williams was never expected to play, as he was listed as doubtful on Saturday's final injury report. Starting in place of Williams is third-year offensive lineman Jaylon Moore. Moore will be making his sixth career start on Monday night and his first since Week 6 of last season. The 49ers offense will also be missing receiver Deebo Samuel (shoulder), but they will have star running back Christian McCaffrey (oblique) leading the backfield. Losing one of the best left tackles in football is certainly notable, and it could negatively affect quarterback Brock Purdy's protection.
