Trent Brown, Patriots Agree To Revised Contract
one year ago

The New England Patriots and offensive tackle Trent Brown agreed to a revised, improved contract on Tuesday with the team adding $2 million worth of incentives to his deal in 2023, making his deal worth up to $13 million total. Brown will still hit free agency at the end of the season. The 30-year-old started on quarterback Mac Jones' blind side at left tackle in the Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but he suffered a concussion in that contest and was forced to miss Sunday night's loss to the division-rival Miami Dolphins. He'll have to clear the league's concussion protocol this week in order to get the green light to play this Sunday in Week 3 against the New York Jets as the Patriots look to get their first win of 2023.
