Travis Kelce Rumbles For 12/179/1 Receiving Line
one year ago

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (ankle) absolutely smoked the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7's 31-17 win, dropping a monstrous 12/179/1 receiving line. Kelce first made a 28-yard catch during K.C.'s opening drive before getting tackled just shy of the end zone on a vintage 53-yard catch-and-run that resulted in a short Rashee Rice touchdown. Kelce put the cherry on top of an epic first half by muscling his way into the end zone on a one-yard score. All told, the four-time All-Pro's dynamic first half saw him reel in nine passes for 143 yards before cooling down in the final two periods. Kelce has now crushed the Chargers for 49 catches, 730 yards, and seven TDs in his last six games against them. Unfortunately, he won't play L.A. again until Week 18. But the eight-time Pro Bowler does get a Week 8 date with the Denver Broncos, who have been one of the league's worst at defending TEs this year.
