Travis Kelce Questionable For Thursday Night
one year ago

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (ankle) is being listed as questionable to play on Thursday night against the division-rival Denver Broncos to kick off Week 6 action. Kelce suffered a low-ankle sprain in the Week 5 win over the Minnesota Vikings but returned to the game and finished with 10 receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown. He's not dealing with a long-term injury, but on a short week, the Chiefs might take the cautious approach with their star tight end and hold him out. The 34-year-old's right ankle has been heavily taped this week. If Kelce is inactive or limited, Noah Gray would be in play as a TE2 streamer in Week 6, while receivers Rashee Rice, Skyy Moore, Justin Watson, Kadarius Toney and Marquez Valdes-Scantling would have bigger roles in a plus matchup against Denver's soft defense.
