Travis Kelce In A Smash Spot Against Bengals
11 months ago

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is stuck in a rough skid by his lofty standards, consistently falling short on fantasy expectations of late. The 34-year-old four-time All-Pro relies on his renowned chemistry with quarterback Patrick Mahomes now more than ever at this stage of his illustrious career, and therein likely lies the culprit for his recent slide. Kelce has just 42 catches on 58 targets for 443 yards with one total touchdown in his past eight games, with Mahomes carrying an 83.1 passer rating over this stretch, dropping down to fantasy's overall TE9 in PPR scoring across this interval. Kelce remains the premier TE1 in full-PPR formats, however, with 15.3 points per game in those settings. Though he appears to be no longer far and away superior to those around him, Kelce's Week 17 date with a Cincinnati Bengals defense bleeding the most catches (96) and yards (1,001) to TEs couldn't be a better get-right spot.
