Travis Etienne Jr. Puts Up Top-Five Performance Yet Again
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. Rushed 24 times for 79 yards, adding three receptions for 70 yards and a score through the air. With this performance today, Etienne now has four consecutive top-five weekly performances. The rushing efficiency was sub-par yet again (third straight game of under four YPC) but the passing game usage helped Etienne to another monster day. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence hit him on a deep shot that he caught in stride on talented rookie corner Joey Porter before taking it to the house in the third. It was the first receiving touchdown of Etienne's career, which helped him extend his touchdown streak to four games. Etienne may be the most reliable fantasy RB not named Christian McCaffrey right now, but fantasy managers will have to look elsewhere next week as the Jaguars are on bye for Week 9.
