Travis Etienne Jr. A Safe RB1 Play At Indianapolis
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. will look to continue the momentum built last season after rushing for 1,125 yards and five touchdowns. Etienne wasn't a bonafide elite RB1 in fantasy drafts this offseason because the Jaguars selected Tank Bisgby in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. This raised some question marks behind Etienne's ability to be a true workhorse like he was in college. However, Etienne will still be the featured back, and against a bottom-10 rush defense last season in Indianapolis, the former Clemson standout should feast in Week 1. Bigsby might be a vulture this season, but Etienne was sneakily fifth in red zone touches among running backs last year, meaning the Jaguars do trust him in that department. The former first-round pick is a borderline RB1 against the Colts for Week 1.
