Tommy DeVito Throws One Touchdown In Week 12 Victory
12 months ago

New York Giants quarterback Tommy Devito threw for 191 yards and was responsible for the team's lone touchdown in a 10-7 victory over the New England Patriots. The undrafted rookie connected with wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins for a 12-yard touchdown in the second quarter. DeVito still held onto the ball in the pocket longer than coaches would like, taking six sacks on the day and losing a fumble. Ultimately, he did just enough for the team to win, which is all coaches ask from an unproven quarterback. DeVito went 2-1 in his three starts as the Giants head into their bye week. Tyrod Taylor (ribs) is eligible to return after the bye, but it's unclear yet if he will do so, or what a potential return would mean for the Giants' quarterback room.
