Titans Set To Hire Dennard Wilson As Defensive Coordinator

The Tennessee Titans are closing in on a deal to hire Baltimore Ravens defensive backs coach Dennard Wilson as their new defensive coordinator, according to sources. Wilson has quickly risen up the coaching ladder after helping mold the Ravens' secondary into one of the best units in the league. The 41-year-old was also getting looks from the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants for the same position. Before coaching Baltimore's secondary in 2023, he was the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive backs coach in 2021 before adding passing-game duties to his role in 2022. He started his coaching career as a quality control coach for the Rams in 2012 and also served as the Jets' defensive backs coach from 2017-20. Titans GM Ran Carthon and Wilson worked together with the Rams.
