Titans Name Will Levis Starting Quarterback
one year ago

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel named Will Levis the team's starting quarterback ahead of the Week 10 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. "There is clearly something there with Levis," Vrabel said. "And we want to prepare him and win with him." Levis took over as the team's starter in Week 8 and has completed 41 of his 68 passing attempts for 500 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception in two games. The rookie from Kentucky should be slated to start for the remainder of the 2023 season, barring any injuries. Veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle), who could return this week after dealing with a high-ankle sprain, will likely serve as his backup. While Levis is an exciting fantasy option after a four-touchdown debut, his upside could be limited by a weak offensive line and pass-catching group.
