Thomas Morstead Re-Signing With Jets

Veteran punter Thomas Morstead is signing a two-year deal worth over $5 million to remain with the New York Jets, according to Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team. The 38-year-old has not been named to the Pro Bowl or an All-Pro team since 2012, but he excellent last season while the Jets' offense sputtered. Morstead led the NFL with 99 punts and 4,831 punt yards in 2023. He will head into his second year with New York after 12 seasons with the New Orleans Saints, half a season with the Atlanta Falcons, and one season with the Miami Dolphins.
