The Ravens Defense Posts Five Sacks In Season Opener
one year ago

The Baltimore Ravens defense/special teams turned in another good game against a rookie quarterback. The defensive unit collected five sacks and a forced fumble while only allowing nine points and a total of 268 yards. While they gave up more yardage than they gained on offense, the team did a nice job at limiting the run game as they only allowed 72 yards to Dameon Pierce and company. This secondary is still banged up and missed Marlon Humphrey, so they should improve as time goes on. They'll set their sights on a Cincinnati team that just put up only three points against Cleveland.
