Texans Add Malik Fisher

The Houston Texans signed United Football League defensive end Malik Fisher to an undisclosed deal on Monday. Fisher was a standout pass-rusher for the D.C. Defenders and recorded seven sacks, which ranked second in the league last season. He also had 33 tackles (seven for loss), three pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. The Villanova alum went undrafted out of college in 2021 and will now get his first chance in the NFL this summer in training camp and the preseason with Houston. If the 25-year-old does make the final roster out of camp, he'll be serving as defensive-line depth for the Texans in 2024.
