Taysom Hill Continues To See Utilization Increase
one year ago

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (chest) takes on the Indianapolis Colts in a Week 8 matchup. The former quarterback-turned-tight-end has been dealing with a chest injury that he suffered last week, but is still expected to play. Hill has been primarily used as a rusher after he made the position switch a few years ago, but over the past two weeks he has seen 13 total targets, which has led to 11 catches for 99 yards on top of his rushing production (six carries for 20 yards and a touchdown). This increased usage produced back-to-back TE6 finishes, giving him some momentum heading into the game against Indy. Third-year tight end Juwan Johnson will return this week and could potentially revert Hill back to his usual short-yardage / goal-line duties, but fantasy managers may want to stay in the flames with Hill, especially given his affinity for punching in short scores. He's a fine tight-end option at the moment.
