Taylor Heinicke Active For Week 12 As Backup QB

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Taylor Heinicke (hamstring) is officially active for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. He was listed as questionable after logging three limited practices this past week. Despite suiting up, the 30-year-old was benched during the bye week and will return to the No. 2 quarterback role behind Desmond Ridder. He looked solid during his two starts, completing 54.7 percent of his passes for 323 passing yards, 54 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.
