T.J. Hockenson Still A Must-Start TE1 In Week 9

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson will remain a high-end TE1 option in Week 9, even with the loss of his starting quarterback Kirk Cousins (Achilles) for the remainder of the season. Hockenson ranks as the overall TE2 in PPR formats at the halfway point of the season, so a downgrade at the quarterback position shouldn't hurt his fantasy value too much. The former Detroit Lion could act as a security blanket for Jaren Hall in his first NFL start, which could increase his appeal in PPR formats against a Falcons defense that ranks 21st against tight ends this season. Hockenson is a must-start option once again.
