T.J. Hockenson Limited With Ribs Injury
one year ago

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson (ribs) injured his ribs in the Week 9 win over the Atlanta Falcons and was limited in the first official practice of the week on Wednesday. The Vikings are hopeful that Hockenson won't have to miss any time, starting with a Week 10 matchup against the New Orleans Saints, and the fact that he was limited in practice early in the week confirms that. As long as he doesn't suffer any kind of setback with his ribs in the next two days, Hockenson should be expected to play this weekend. He caught seven of a season-high-tying 12 targets last Sunday for 69 yards and remains a set-and-forget TE1 in fantasy lineups when he's active. Now that quarterback Joshua Dobbs is the starter moving forward, it will be an upgrade over rookie Jaren Hall for the Vikings offense.
