T.J. Hockenson Dealing With Oblique/Rib Issue
one year ago

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson (oblique, ribs) was injured during Sunday's win over the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said the 26-year-old is dealing with an oblique or rib issue, although he didn't elaborate further. The Vikings were already down Kirk Cousins (Achilles) and Justin Jefferson (hamstring) heading into this one, with Cam Akers (Achilles) potentially suffering a season-ending Achilles tear. Fantasy managers should monitor this situation before the Week 10 meeting with the New Orleans Saints, especially since Hockenson is expected to remain a featured target for whoever is under center. But considering K.J. Osborn (concussion) and Brandon Powell (cramps) are also dealing with issues, it's hard to tell who will be available to step up if Hockenson misses time moving ahead.
