Stefon Diggs Churns Out Nine More Catches In Win
one year ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs sustained his rapid pace in Week 8's 24-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, coming down with nine receptions for 70 yards. Diggs trailed three other Bills receivers in first-half targets (three), grabbing three passes for 29 yards. The 29-year-old superstar made a clutch grab to move the sticks late in the game, but it was an otherwise quiet night by his lofty standards. Diggs took a backseat to Gabe Davis and even Khalil Shakir, who suddenly paced Buffalo in receiving yards on Thursday. Even so, Diggs was tied for the team lead with 12 targets. He's now on pace for 128 catches (180 targets), 1,496 yards, and 12 touchdowns at the season's traditional midway point, which would be on par with his All-Pro Buffalo debut season in 2020 when he led the NFL in receiving. Diggs will be a great WR1 bet in Week 9's meeting with the Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday Night Football.
