Stefon Diggs Can't Wake Up From Swoon Saturday
11 months ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs delivered another box-score letdown in Week 16's 24-22 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, catching five of his eight targets for 29 yards. Diggs nearly gave fantasy managers a nightmare before Christmas after appearing to tweak his neck on a catch for no gain during the first play from scrimmage, but he missed only one snap before returning. It was a short-lived sigh of relief, however, as Diggs drew just one more first-half target and was seen hanging around on the sidelines amid the late stages of the second quarter. Diggs was fortunately back out there for the start of the second half and had a step on a defender down the field, but he was underthrown for a Josh Allen interception. For fantasy-playoff rosters that survived yet another Diggs dud, the 30-year-old All-Pro will try to put his long-running slump to bed once and for all in next Sunday's smash spot versus the 3-11 New England Patriots.
