The New Orleans Saints defense has now had poor fantasy performances against Minnesota and Atlanta in back-to-back weeks. While safety Tyrann Mathieu did secure two interceptions, the team failed to record a sack and surrendered 396 yards of offense to the Falcons in Week 12. Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has been turnover-prone with six turnovers in the last two weeks but has also thrown for six touchdowns and 901 yards in three games since Detroit's bye. The Lions have averaged 31.3 points per game in their last three games and should continue to score points in Week 13. The Saints defense is not a premiere defensive unit this week.
