Stars Have Aligned For Dalton Kincaid Against Bucs
one year ago

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid is set to be thrust into the spotlight, with veteran Dawson Knox (wrist) out indefinitely due to wrist surgery. Kincaid's probable elevation into a more prominent role comes on the heels of the best display of his young career in Week 7, racking up eight catches (eight targets) for 75 yards. That showing came with Knox in the lineup. Kincaid now stands out as quarterback Josh Allen's preferred red-zone option at tight end, as the 23-year-old rookie searches for his first career score in Week 8. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have permitted one red-zone catch, however, to opposing TEs on the campaign. With that said, Kincaid has a 45.1% slot snap rate, and the Bucs defense has been stung for the second-most slot fantasy points per game (17.9), per Razzball. The 2023 first-rounder is a high-floor TE1 with upside on Thursday, but a minuscule 5.2% air yards share hurts his ceiling.
