Seahawks To Interview Mike MacDonald For A Second Time

The Seattle Seahawks are bringing in Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike MacDonald for a second interview on Wednesday for their head-coaching job, according to sources. The Seahawks met with the 36-year-old on Tuesday in Baltimore and will now go through the expanded process like they did with their other head-coaching candidates. MacDonald has been the Ravens' defensive coordinator for the last two seasons, and Baltimore finished first in points allowed and sixth in total yards allowed under MacDonald in 2023 before losing this past weekend to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. He started with the Ravens in 2014 as a coaching intern and coached defensive backs and linebackers before going to Michigan in 2021 to serve as Jim Harbaugh's defensive coordinator.
