Seahawks Open Practice Window For Safety Rayshawn Jenkins
yesterday

The Seattle Seahawks opened the 21-day practice window for safety Rayshawn Jenkins (hand) on Wednesday. Jenkins is in his first season with the Seahawks. He was forced onto injured reserve after the Seahawks' Week 6 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. However, he had been playing well prior to his injury. In six games played, Jenkins recorded 38 total tackles and recovered a fumble. It is unclear when Jenkins will return to game action, but this Seahawks defense is continuing to get healthier for the stretch run of the season. The unit seemed to find some success in Week 11 against the 49ers. They limited the 49ers to just 17 points. If the defense can continue to succeed, it will likely assist the offense. As such, the Seahawks' skill position players such as quarterback Geno Smith, running back Kenneth Walker III, and wide receivers DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba could enjoy a lot more success moving forward. Additionally, better play from the defensive unit could put the Seahawks D/ST in play for fantasy.
