Seahawks Clear Jaxon Smith-Njigba From Injury Report
one year ago

The Seattle Seahawks have removed wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (hip) from the injury report after he was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Smith-Njigba didn't take part in Wednesday's practice due to a hip problem, but he was back out there in full capacity on Thursday. The 21-year-old first-round rookie is trending up since Seattle's Week 5 bye, averaging 4.3 catches for 52.5 yards and two total touchdowns over his last four outings. With D.K. Metcalf (hip) a non-participant in Thursday's session, Smith-Njigba could be in play as a WR2 in Week 10 versus a Washington Commanders defense that's been torched for the third-most half-PPR fantasy points per game. Even if Metcalf ultimately overcomes his hip issue, JSN still looks like an upside WR3/flex.
