Saquon Barkley Truly Up In The Air
one year ago

While New York Giants tight end Darren Waller (groin) is expected to play on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills despite a questionable tag, running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) has more uncertainty around him. His ankle still looked to be limiting him during the week in practice. Like Waller, Barkley was listed as questionable on the final Week 6 injury report on Friday. Barkley suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 2 and hasn't played since, and he told reporters he's struggled with pain and cutting. However, he also said he's felt much better this week than he has in recent weeks, so he continues to trend in the right direction. But that doesn't mean Barkley will be active on Sunday night in a tough matchup behind a terrible offensive line and without starting quarterback Daniel Jones (neck). Barkley is an extremely risky fantasy option in Week 6, as he could also be limited if he returns.
